During week 3 I decided to work on some of my assigned general props from our asset list on codecks. I decided to design some rocks which would be scattered about the scene in order to add more depth and variation and preventing the scene from looking like a box.
Design
To begin with I decided to look at various caves to see the sorts of rocks they contained:

Next I took a look at underground areas in Roki, though there are few examples of rocks in these places, as such I then took a look at boulders in above ground areas, these were more appropriate and I decided it would be best to base my designs of these whilst scaling them down.

I then used these images to sketch out various rocks which I think would suit the scene. I was sure to keep shapes irregular and angular edges in order to fully capture the Roki style.

Modelling
From these sketches and references I designed a base rock (furthest left rock) by taking a cube and smoothing it, next I deleted the bottom faces of the smooth cube and used the fill hole option to create a flat bottom, next I used multi-cut to ensure the new face was a viable polygon (four vertexes at most). Next I duplicated this rock a few times and adjusted their vertexes in order to create a variety of rocks which were suitable and in theme with Roki.

Finally I addded the models to codecks.
