Week 4 - Making a Variation of the Chains

I had made one possible idea for the chains but I wasn’t happy with them as I thought they were too big specifically for the scene. So I went back on Maya and made a few more designs for the Chains.

On Maya I made these two different chainlinks that had a different design of the actual individual chain. They were much smaller than the original chains I had made so I was happy how they turned out.

Another design I did for the chains was using a motion path on the Animation Menu of Maya. I could make the design of the Chain and then attach it to the Motion Path and it would snap to it. Then I could add others and have them at different intervals so this was a much faster way than doing each individual chain and creating the link one by one.
